Chapter 5: Mouse (Mouse Parts,Features, Mouse Pointer)

Have you seen the above mouse,a computer also has one of the most important parts as a mouse. Just like your finger , a mouse helps to point and select things on a computer.

Mouse

A mouse is a pointing device used to point to a particular place on the monitor. A commonly  used mouse has two buttons on the top.The Wire of the mouse is attached to the CPU.
Always keep a mouse on the mouse pad.Pressing the mouse button is called as clicking.

Parts of a mouse:    
●    Left button           
●    Right button
●    Scroll Wheel

Features of a mouse
●    A mouse is used to point ,click, move and select any items on the monitor.
●     A mouse has two or three buttons.
●    A mouse also helps us to play games and draw pictures .
●    When you move the mouse ,a pointer also moves on the monitor.

Mouse Pointer

The slanting arrow  on the computer screen is called mouse pointer.As you move the mouse , the mouse pointer on the monitor also moves in the same direction.
A scroll mouse has two buttons and  a scroll wheel in the center to move the page up and down.
